היי, אני זוהר ברוריה ברנדס, מקעקעת ואמנית פמיניסטית קווירית.
בעלת תואר ראשון B.Ed.F.A באמנות.
אני מגיעה מעולם האמנות וכיום אני אמנית פעילה, יוזמת וחברת קבוצת האמניות "פדארט", מקעקעת ומורה לאמנות.
את דרכי כמקעקעת התחלתי אחרי שנים שאני עוסקת באמנות ובציור בפרט.
באוקטובר 2019 החלטתי להגשים את ייעודי כמקעקעת וטסתי לשהות אצל אמן קעקועים בניקוסיה, קפריסין.
אני מתמחה בסגנון של צבעי מים, סקאצ וראליסטי.
עשיית קעקוע מכילה בתוכה מגוון תחושות. זהו פרק זמן ותהליך אינטימי ומרגש.
ועל כן, חשוב לי לשמור על מרחב בטוח ולעניקה ללקוחות שלי מפגש של גוף ואמנות בחוויה טובה ונעימה.

Hi, I'm Zohar Bruria Brandes, a queer feminist tattoo & visual artist.
Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.Ed.F.A.).
With a background in art, I am an active artist, entrepreneur, and member of the "Pedart" collective. a tattoo artist and art teacher.
My journey as a tattoo artist began after years of experience in art, particularly painting.
In October 2019, I embraced my calling as a tattoo artist and traveled to learn from a tattoo artist in Nicosia, Cyprus.
I specialize in watercolor, sketch, and realistic styles.
The art of tattooing evokes a range of emotions. It's a deeply personal and exciting process.
Therefore, creating a safe space is essential. I strive to provide my clients with a positive and memorable experience where body and art meet.

הדבר המדהים בא.נשים הוא המגוון, השוני ועם כל זאת הדימיון והחיבור. ועל כן, כל קעקוע מותאם באופן אישי לכל לקוח.ה ואין שני לו.
את ההשראה והרעיונות לסקיצות מקוריות שלי אני מקבלת דרך עיניים המסתכלות על הסביבה. רעיון לסקיצה יכול לצוץ במבט על בניין מעניין, על עץ שופע בפריחה או בטיול עם הכלבים המהממים.ות שלי.
דרך נוספת שרעיונות צצים אצלי, היא דרך האידיאולוגיות הפמיניסטיות-קווריות שלי ואקטיביזם.

Each tattoo is unique and special. like people
The amazing thing about people is the diversity, the difference and yet the common imagination and the connection. Therefore, each tattoo is individually tailored to each client. There is no other.
I get the inspiration and ideas for my original sketch designs through eyes looking at the environment. A design idea can emerge from looking at an interesting building, a lush tree in bloom or a walk with my amazing dogs.
Another way that ideas emerge for me is through my feminist-queer ideologies and activism.
Custom sketch designs according to customer request. They are created through dialogue.
The client tells me the meaning and desires. Share your thoughts with me.
In a conversation with the client, I am looking to get to know the aesthetics that connects to, and from the conversation I set out to work on a original sketch designing.

סיימתי את לימודי באקדמיה לאמנות בשנת 2014 ומאז אני פועלת בתוך שדה האמנות המקומי, מציגה בתערוכות ומשתתפת בפרוייקטים אמנותיים. בשנת 2020 הקמתי את קבוצת אמניות פמיניסטיות בשם "פדארט". הקבוצה פועלת להעלאת מודעות פמיניסטית בתוך שדה האמנות בישראל.העבודות שלי דנות בנושאים הקשורים לגוף, למגדר, לזהות ולמסורת. בכל יום אני בוחנת את המשמעות להיות אמנית, אישה קווירית פמיניסטית בתוך השיח התרבותי.
I finished my studies at the Art Academy in 2014 and since then I have been active in the local art field, exhibiting in exhibitions and participating in artistic projects. In 2020 I founded the group of feminist artists called "Pedart". The group works to raise feminist awareness within the art field in Israel.
My works discuss issues related to the body, gender, identity and tradition. Every day I examine the impact of being an artist, a feminist queer woman within the cultural discourse.
